Choosing a Military and RCMP Relocation Realtor

At the bare minimum, a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) or RCMP Relocation requires the member to select a Brookfield Global Relocation Services (BGRS) approved Realtor in order for their real estate expenses  to be covered. The threshold to meet this list is exceptionally low, so it is important to select a professional that truly understands the relocation process.

As the exclusive Calgary Area Realtor on RelocatingMilitary.ca, I am certified and very well equipped to help you with your next Military Posting or RCMP Relocation.  I have nearly a decade of experience as a Residential Real Estate Agent, and have underwent extensive training to earn a specialization in Relocations. In 2022, I went through a cross-country relocation with my family, and I am certain that my experience will make your relocation journey as stress-free as possible.

Law Enforcement Background

As a former Correctional Officer with nearly 10 years of service, my core values and personality align closely with the discipline, integrity, and camaraderie found within the CAF and RCMP communities. I have heard some not-so great stories about members using the exclusive relocation service providers in the past, so let me change that narrative for you, and make your experience as seamless as possible.

First Hand Experience

Having been through a cross-country relocation myself, I can offer a level of service few other BGRS approved Realtors can. I know first hand what a major move like this can have on a family, and I will be with you every step of the way, to ensure no questions are left unanswered. I was a Realtor in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario for 6 years prior to my relocation to Calgary, and I've been a Realtor for years here as well. I know and understand both markets and provinces exceptionally well.

I will help you secure your ideal home for the least amount of money, in the best neighborhood for your family, and am happy to work with you long before your first House Hunting Trip (HHT). If you are leaving the Calgary area, I will prepare your home to showcase it's best features, and offer tips for the quickest sale for the most amount of money.

CERC Certified Relocation Specialist

In addition to being an approved Real Estate Agent by the BGRS, I am also a certified Relocation Specialist with the Canadian Employment Resources Council (CERC). I have undergone extensive training to understand the total relocation process. My personal relocation journey bolsters the empathy I feel for your family, and my education improves the level of service I can offer. I've learned tips and strategies to help make this transition as stress-free as possible for your family.

Trusted Resources

Several years ago, I moved over 4,700 KM to Calgary with my wife and young daughter. I researched and interviewed an incredible number of professionals to assist us, and thankfully, our experience was near seamless. Having been a Realtor in Calgary for a few years now, my list of trusted partners has grown because of the glowing recommendations I've received from clients. If you need a moving company, lawyer, mortgage broker, contractor, home inspectors, or anything else, reach out, and I'm happy to share.

Research

An interprovincial Relocation is not something to take lightly. Make sure you do your research to put yourselves in very capable and experienced hands. Whenever you're ready to get started, I'll be ready. To start looking at available homes anywhere in Alberta (except Edmonton), you can find the full up-to-date database here. For Edmonton, reach out, and I'll put you in touch with a very experienced and trusted Edmonton agent.

If you're in the early information gathering stages, I'm happy to take some time and help ease any of your concerns. I also have prepared Relocation Guides for Calgary, Cochrane, Edmonton and Red Deer. If you would like to receive a digital version, let me know!

Veterans and First Responders

If you are a Veteran and no longer actively serving, work for a different Police Service, or are with EMS, Fire or Corrections, ask me about the First Responder Incentives.  I truly appreciate your service and am happy to offer a gracious gift as a thank you for your service.
